Mini-Dwarf Apples

Mini-Dwarf trees are ideal for the backyard orchard, containers, and urban spaces.  They are also ideal for a step over espalier, and only require a 2-4 foot spacing.  Because you can fit 8-10 mini-dwarf fruit trees in space of semi-dwarf, you can have your several of your favorite varieties at your fingertips.  Mini-dwarf varieties do produce Large sized fruit by their second year despite their size; however they do require a permanent stake or support system.  These trees also require regular Watering and Feeding because they don’t have a large root system.
